How we verify
Every listing checked before it goes live.
We do not let just anyone post anything. Every listing on Nyawira Homes passes through checks before it reaches you. Here is exactly what we verify and how.
Title checks (sale listings)
Before any sale listing goes live, we run a search at the Ministry of Lands. We check:
- Current ownership matches the seller
- No encumbrances or caveats
- Green card is in order
- No pending restrictions or court orders
Agent verification
Every agent must provide their full name, national ID, and valid agenc registration before their first listing. We verify these against the relevant professional body. You can see the agent's licence number on every listing and check it yourself.
Photo originality
We detect and reject recycled images, watermarked photos, and duplicates from other listings. Photos must be at least 1600px on the long edge. Blurry, dark, or portrait-orientation primary photos are rejected at upload with a clear reason shown to the agent.
If a listing is reported
Every listing has a "Report" button. When a listing is reported:
- The listing is immediately flagged for review
- Our team investigates within 24 hours
- If the listing is found to be fraudulent, it is removed and the agent is delisted
- We assist the reporter with any legal next steps
